Two local charities will be supported by the Mayor of Charnwood with a charity fundraising dinner this month.
Councillor David Northage’s chosen charities for his Mayoral year are Rainbows, which provides specialist palliative and end of life care for babies, children and young people across the East Midlands, and The Carpenter’s Arms, a Leicestershire-based charity supporting men facing challenges with addiction.
The fundraising dinner will take place in the Victoria Room at Loughborough Town Hall on Friday, 20 March.
Guests are invited to join the Mayor and Mayoress, Jenny Northage, for an evening of fine dining, entertainment and charitable giving, starting at 7pm.
The evening will feature live music from Rupert Simms and Derek Hunter, a performance by local singer Charlotte Emily Beaver, and a raffle and auction.
The event will be hosted by compère Lez Cope-Newman, chair of the Loughborough BID.
Guests will enjoy a menu crafted by head chef Michael Paparrozi, inspired by his Italian heritage.
